kids can be seriously awesome, and today, my two have proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt.. first, i asked them to go thru some books they have grown out of, and they did that and so much more..

after the books, they decided to go thru all of their toys.. they ended up going thru so much, they filled my trunk to the brim.. they asked me if the little girls there had baby dolls to snuggle with at nite, and i said no, i'm sure some of them do not.. they were shocked and said thats just not right.. so they went thru all of their stuff, baby dolls, stuffed animals, barbies, lego's, baby blankets they never used but held onto to use on their dollies, toy purses, matchbox cars, u name it, they loaded bag after bag with things...

the charity we donated to is an awesome shelter for both battered women and children.. they want to save up now and start donating food items.. and we still have another load to drop off to donate tomorrow..

i am one proud mom :-D

on a side note, i've been kinda outta the loop of late.. but between medical issues with my oldest and currently myself, i'm just trying to keep rested when i can find the time to do so.. i've got a busy calendar ahead of me with filled with yummy fun and fabulousness! starting with next saturday's underworld, come see me spin with the lovely ms fluzee! then end of the month i'm off to dallas to go visit my sister and one of my bestest friends in the world, jerry.. and hopefully a venture north in late july to go visit family and friends..
